Planning

Application reference: 11/00282/OUT

Planning status: Outline Planning Permission

Planning authority: Gosport Borough Council

Application details:

The planning context to date is provided by the existing outline planning approval and Daedalus Supplementary Planning Document (SPD).

The site is identified as employment led mixed-use with the SPD identifying up to 85,000 sq m of employment space and 350 new homes (320 of which are being or have been developed separately). Critical components of the vision are the delivery of employment space and bringing heritage buildings back into use. Some limited additional residential development beyond the current planning policy, that enables delivery of this vision, may be acceptable to the Local Planning Authority.

The whole of Daedalus Waterfront sits within Gosport Borough Council’s boundary. Homes England has agricultural land it is using to mitigate nitrogen neutrality requirements on other sites. There may be capacity to accommodate some additional mitigation required for this site.

Ownership

LandHawk hosts, manages and displays a digitised version of every land parcel in the UK, as produced by His Majesty's Land Registry (HMLR) and, in the case of Scotland, Registers of Scotland using the INSPIRE data. Each land parcel contains the land registry title deed number and, in the cases of commercial and overseas ownership, directly accessible information for the ownership of that land parcel.
